Luke Séguin-Magee draws pictures for children’s books in his studio in Stockholm.

Luke’s work draws on influences from a childhood in Canada watching 1970’s TV, reading the funny papers, MAD Magazine, Maurice Sendak’s “Where The Wild Things Are,” and getting lost in the busy worlds of Richard Scarry and Sesame Street.

When not hunched over a paper with a pencil, he likes to read, paint, bicycle, chop—design and build stuff with—wood, sip a tipple, strum his ukulele, stream TV and facetime with his family in Canada and Denmark.
