I’ve been working on Tonic for what seems like a very long time, and I’m very near to getting it sorted. I’m at the point now where the two main characters (a distraught father and independant daughter) meet a peculiar character just before the story takes a twist.
I like old guy characters like this. Unserious, lighthearted, basically a kid in old skin sort of fellow. He’s got it made and has a lot of room leftover in his life to enjoy it, and to share that enjoyment with others. A silly old man. A Mr.Magoo.
